Big Mama

Update – Big mama has been in our training program for a few weeks now. She’s been a broodmare for years and is getting back into shape and strengthening her muscles.  She is being introduced to trail but has a little bit of anxiety so we are working on her confidence building. She is great in the arena for a walk trot and canter as well. 

Big Mama came from our old neighbors in Palmdale. Unfortunately, they are aging and their health no longer permits them to be able to care for the horses.

Big Mama is such a gentle giant. Definitely needs some work on her ground manners as she doesn’t know her size sometimes. It turns out she’s also broke to ride, at least green broke. She’s Currently being ridden walk trot but hopefully we can canter by next week! Big Mama is 16 Hands
